I started Baby Reindeer this week (like the rest of the world, I guess?) and it's absolutely wild! I'm not done yet but I find myself thinking about it all the time - the way that it manages to be both darkly funny and genuinely so unsettling is such a delicate balance.
And I stumbled across that Vanity Fair list of the best rom-coms a few months ago and keep meaning to go back to it and fill in the gaps on the movies I haven't seen from it - so thank you for posting it and reminding me that I've got work to do!
Ooh, I cannot WAIT to hear your thoughts on Baby Reindeer! I won't say too much, but YES re: being funny/unsettling. And you manage to feel for BOTH of them! Yah that Vanity Fair list made feel SO GIRLY - like I want to put my hair in a side pony, wear my slouchy socks (I say this as a child of the 80's), and just cozy up on my couch and watch EVERYTHING!
